Gradient Border Image

This tutorial was written using Paint Shop Pro 7

Open a new image width 16 height 200 transparent background.
Pick two colors for your foreground and background.
I'm using #D6A5A5 foreground, #FFFFFF background

Click on one of those and make it a gradient.

Click on the image, and select #1 Foreground-Background

Flood fill your image with the gradient, this will be image1

Copy and paste this image as a new image, this will be image2 (Ctrl C then Ctrl V on your keyboard)

Go to Images, Flip, you should now have this

Click on image1, go to Image, Canvas Size and increase to 16x400 with all the add on at the bottom.

Click on image2, copy it (ctrl c) then paste it into image1 (click on image1, then hit ctrl e on your keyboard). Position it so that the top of image2 matches up with the bottom of image1 and fills the blank spot.

Save it and that's it you now have a border that looks pretty cool! Here's an example of what it would look like with a set (you can make it as wide or narrow as you want with the settings of your table). Pooh Cloud

Another Way

If you're in a hurry or you want a shorter one, here's another way to do it. Open your new images, pick your colors, and go to gradient, all the same as above. Except this time use this setting.

Just flood fill the image and save it.

This is basically the exact same effect but a simpler way to do it and smaller, of course you could make the image height 400 and it might be the same thing...I think. I just did this for the first time today so ya know lol

You can see it on a set here Tea Party, I just added a texture to it.
